Kiamichi Country is a tourism
promotion corporation that encompasses seven of Oklahoma's most
picturesque counties which are enriched with beauty and adventure.
The counties of Choctaw, Pushmataha, McCurtain, LeFlore, Haskell,
Latimer, and Pittsburg is the home of seven mountain ranges, then
state parks and twenty- three lakes plus numerous rivers and streams.
We are the home of the western half of the Talimena Drive, Cavanal,
the world's highest hill and part of the winding stair Mountain
National Recreation area. As deer capitol of the world 750,000 acres
of controlled hunting area brings hunting visitors from long distances
to the area yearly. Also a fisherman's paradise, Kiamichi Country
boasts many varieties of fish with year round trout fishing.
