"Turkey Tracks" Bluegrass Festival
Waldron, Arkansas

to offer while enjoying friendly small town atmosphere in Waldron.
Blythe's Museum has a large collection of Indian and pioneer artifacts
that were found around Waldron. You can enjoy nine holes of golf
at the Waldron Country Club. In June and October bluegrass fans
flock to Waldron for the Turkey Track Bluegrass Festival.
Many lakes, such as Lake Hinkle and Lake
Ouachita and dozens of smaller lakes are tucked away among thousands
of pines of Arkansas. You can enjoy seasonal hunting activities
as well as river float trips in and around Waldron. Viewing fall
foliage or dogwoods blooming in the spring is a pleasure when you
drive Arkansas Highway 309, a national scenic byway, that winds
to the top of Mount Magazine. You'll want to stop at the overlooks
that show the valleys and lakes of Logan and Yell Counties.
