This information station is located at the intersection
of U.S. Highway 271 and Highway 1 at the western end of Winding
Stair Mountain. Area information is available from the staff on
weekends year-round, and during the week, except Monday, from spring
through the fall color season.
The facility is landscaped with Oklahoma native plants. Restrooms,
water, and vending machines are available to the public when the
facility is open. This is a good place to stop, get current weather
conditions on the drive and pick up brochures and trail maps for
area attractions.
